Sailor Pluto of Sailor Moon

Sailor Pluto is the most mysterious of the sailor senshi, and i feel she is the most beautiful. She is the solitary guardian of the Gate of Time, the warrior of time and space who has stood alone longer than anyone knows. Knowledge of her existence is fobidden, though she is come to be known by the other sailor scouts when she is needed to fight beside them. In her veins flows the blood of Chronos.

Her name as she poses as a mortal on Earth is Setsuna Meioh, which not only translates into a lord or king of time, but the underworld (land of the dead), as the Pluto of Roman myth. From the underworld she draws her deadliest attack, the "Dead Scream". Also, Meiousei means "Pluto".

Though her duty is guarding the Gate of Time, she is under strict rules to keep her from abusing the power herself (though i can't see her doing this). She can use the garnet orb in her Time Key to alter and even stop the flow of time, but the heavy punishment for this can range from being thrown into a time rift to death.

Her only friend is Chibi-usa, Sailor Moons' young daughter, who refers to Pluto as "Puu" (so cute!). ChibiUsa is as close to a family Pluto will ever get, and she cherishes the little princess and easily protects her with her life. Chibiusa is the first person to ever make Pluto smile.

BACK TO COSPLAY MAIN?

Yeah...you KNEW i'd have an "out of character" moment on here....Now, normally i don't care about the wierd looks (or i deal) that i get with coslay shots...not this one.
Everytime someone went by, i dove behind the car. Photographer finds this funny. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Running around a con is one thing..but geez...

I really like these last set of pics we got, if only for the lighting. I wanted to show how she is without a doubt the loneliest senshi, and i just feel sad for her. I thought the look of these kind of made her look...well...alone.

I took a few shots like this just to show off the belt of keys i made. She only wears them in the manga (too hard to animate??), but its a damn cool accesory, so i have them on in only a few shots.

Now of course i already have some gripes about the costume...

I think my buttbow maybe should have been just a bit bigger...And maybe i chose too bright a burgundy for the bows...the problem is in some shots of Pluto they are almost black, and in others a bright burgundy. I wanted contrast, so thats the color i got.

My waist hem should be more "rolled", my pleats should be stiffer (i think i'll starch them), and i'm tall, but WHO has legs that long!! HAHA!
....

and as usual, wrong color eyes, and i STILL cannot bear a contact. She has burgundy/red eyes, mine are blue. Wah.

I dyed the wig 8 times to get it such a dark emerald color. Maybe some black added would have been nice, but i couldn't do it, i just loved the shade.
