I really debated adding these pictures to the first Lady Death gallery I’d posted, but I felt like they deserved their own. I worked really hard to make this happen, and god it’s hard to pose with that scythe I made!!!!

I have waited all summer to reshoot my Lady Death, it went from 2 months of nonstop rain to instantly being 93° every day, NOT something that works well with body paint. I never imagined it would take me 3-4 months to shoot it since I dug her out and ironed the cape, but HERE WE ARE. The scythe is definitely my favorite part of this costume, I made it from several types of foam and thermoplastics, as well as hand sculpting and painting. Also I’m so grateful to my photog Rob.somers.fit who’s almost always ready to shoot within 8 hours notice, which sometimes is all I have with the weather and life being so chaotic! Anyway, I’m so happy I was able to get more pics of her, if you’re curious the graveyard we shot in is one of the oldest (and so most abandoned) in the area…most of the stones are from the early 1800’s (some even 1700s!!). I didn’t want to wear this anywhere that someone may be visiting a loved one :/ Unfortunately I think the only people visiting this one nowadays are teens kicking over stones…but it worked perfectly for LD.
